  • Served as consultant, designer, and developer on a pilot program of animated video elearning courses.

  • Provide instructional design and project management services to design and manage online self-paced courses and synchronous learning events based on sound adult learning theories and principles.
  • Write scripts for short topical videos and story-based and scenario-based courses.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts on curriculum and content development relying heavily on my research and analytical skills.
  • Act as an instructional design consultant working closely with subject matter experts to transfer classroom training to elearning for one of Accenture’s certification programs including curriculum design, writing for elearning delivery, translation of in-class learning activities to online learning activities, and creating online certification exams

Role: Lead Instructional Designer
Accomplishments: As Lead Instructional Designer, I designed, developed, and oversaw a team of multimedia developers and UI/graphic designers to create a Code of Conduct training course for Google’s Ethics and Compliance team. Out of four other Google elearning courses that were initiated several months to a year before, the Code of Conduct training was the first approved by the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer (the others are still in phases of rework). Due to my skilled project management and instructional design, this was the first Suddenly Smart Google elearning project to be delivered on time and under budget.

  • Perform needs analysis and design and develop solutions to meet client needs
  • Work closely with client teams and subject matter experts to determine actionable performance objectives and gather content to support the objectives for increased, measurable learner performance
  • Author course content and activities to support client needs and learning objectives

  • Accomplishments:
    • Researched and implemented Web 2.0 technologies into elearning
    • Piloted a project to develop a new learning object prototype using animated characters to be used within online courses and standalone performance support items that can be accessed and downloaded by employees for “just-in-time” learning
    • Lead Developer and Project Manager for new eLearning/training Website, DE University, on a Drupal platform to better utilize Web 2.0 technologies.

  • Accomplishments:
    • As an integral team member on a pilot project to develop eLearning video courses, I researched the content for and wrote all video scripts to present instructional material in a video format. I worked closely with a video production company on casting, producing, directing, editing, and delivering final video courses. These courses were presented to several focus groups with 100% positive feedback. Based on the success of my initial video courses, MindLeaders produced 40 video courses in 2006. I was instrumental in successfully adjusting the current course development, design, and production processes to adapt to future video course development.
